Relationship and Sexuality Education

for Individuals and Disability Professionals

Young adults

Our Center for Relationship & Sexuality Education (CRSE) offers curriculum, classes and professional development to the disability community. We serve individuals with disabilities, their families/guardians, medical professionals and educators. Material is delivered through seminars, train-the-trainer modules, therapeutic group modality, assessment, staff training, teacher workshops and parent workshops. Many of our programs qualify for CEUs and CECs.

We have established a comprehensive suite of programs around safe relationships and sexual health, specifically tailored to the disabled population, from adolescents to adults.

Our Programs

Curriculum & Manuals
Complete classroom materials for sexuality education and breast health, workbooks and teaching guides. CRSE offers industry leading curriculum that helps youth and young adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities learn life skills in the areas of safe boundaries, women's health, relationships and sexuality. Our materials include clear, easy-to-understand lessons as well as detailed directions for teachers and caregivers.

Classes & Workshops
Delivered by our experienced staff, these high quality education services include needs assessments and policy development classes for agencies and care providers. For parents, our workshops provide a forum for the development of successful strategies, tailored to specific learning needs. And, for individuals with disabilities, we both host and provide on-site classes and group sessions on sexuality education, relationship scenarios and breast health.

Professional Development
For disability professionals, clinicians, management, and direct care staff, we offer three in-depth education offerings. We can train individual staff members, train a single staff member to train others, train a department (e.g. school district special education department) or deliver independent seminars. Many of our courses are CEU or CEC eligible. Each module has been designed to support safe, healthy expressions of sexuality for individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities.
